The Journey Begins - Day 4

The last few days have been hectic for me. On Sunday I celebrated my cousin's 30th birthday, and only ended up getting 3 hours of sleep. I was sluggish to say the least for part of the day on Monday. So luck would have it that I got to go to Keansburg Amusement Park, rather than sit at my desk and look at a computer screen. I had a great time as I experienced the Tilt-A-World as an adult. Me and my ride partner were very much focused on getting the fastest pod. It was a ball and I laughed all day.

Yesterday, I was on a hundred different missions. Angela Simmons hosted an awesome event at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newark, for our female club members. All day, I was on mission impossible and little "getting-it-done" excursions, to make sure all things flowed smoothly. Performances by Diggy Simmons and Bow Wow forced the girls to scream and jump up and down. So it was the perfect ending to an awesome day. Oh, and a woman by the name of Katrina J., owes me baked macaroni and cheese for my troubles. I'll be sending her a message today to remind her.

As if you care about my daily happenings. :) On the Danger Kids front, I spoke to De'Quan Foster yesterday for all of two minutes. He finally got a day off from his new gig and he called me with a phone that was nearly dead. Great job Foster :). De'Quan got out a few sentences, asked me a question, and then CLICK! Yeah, maybe he'll DM me on Twitter one day this week. But you can check out our new project on Kickstarter. We need support to keep the Danger Kids Universe movement afloat. So check it out, spread the word, and stayed tuned. Chapter 1 of A Generation's Journey is coming to you on August 4, 2013. Hopefully, I'll be writing to you tomorrow. Yet, with my schedule, the world may never know.

Sincerely,
A.S. Washington

Until next write...
