Poem of the Day - Decisions

Decision by A.S. Washington

Decisions must be made,
With each one the tide is changed,
Life takes a turn for the worse,
Or the better, in the exchange,
I know not what decisions are best,
Being led by my feelings, my soul,
Life's purpose causes me untold stress,
Hoping not to be left in the cold,
In the shivering grip, of some horrible choice,
Under the heavy white hug of the avalanche,
I wrack my mind with ultimate question,
Did I ever really have a chance?
