Poem of the Day - Have It All Someday

Have It All Someday by A.S. Washington

Smile through indifference, not letting my eyes betray,
Taming emotions flowing, wishing I could pounce,
Though from the path of measured control, I shall not stray,
For I shall have it all someday.
Allow them to decline, digress, be gracious and kind,
Curse them not in their absence, keeping humility in mind,
Thus from the path of measured control, I shall not stray,
For I shall have it all someday.
