Amidst The Dark Hours by A.S. Washington

Amidst The Dark Hours

Think hard and long,
Or think none at all,
Be guided by light,
Or in darkness fall,
Fall in love,
With the freedom of void,
Bask in nothingness,
And all demons avoid,
Reign in thy sorrow,
Shepard no grief,
Seize the day,
With death have release,
From the suffocating grip,
Of the murmuring squalls,
From the tireless mob,
And their humming and calls,
With tired red eyes,
With aching back,
With an itch upon finger,
Have elation attached,
To thy heart and thy mood,
Forget what is lacked,
Continue on,
To the front of the pack.
