Have My Truths by A.S. Washington

These are four distinct poems, centered around one idea, written within minutes of one another, posted on twitter. I've brought them all together here so that you might enjoy them all at once. Thank you for taking the time to read them.

 Have My Truths

Tell me how to love you,
How to make your heart content,
I'll give my heart to see you filled,
Until death when it relents.

I could write of you,
For hours,
Sleep be no concern.
It is your face,
Which fuels my energy.

Stolen glances,
I be not ashamed,
For I hope to catch your eye.
Hope advances,
Show not disdain,
For I hope not to cry.

Her wide eyes,
Her whispered words,
Her body when she laughs;
Our moments short,
I cherish long,
May be all I'll ever have.
